Triumph Motorcycles
"Anti-corrosion specialist, Vapor-Tek Limited of Bolton, has added Leicestershire-based Triumph Motorcycles to the list of prestigious companies for whom it provides rust and corrosion preventive materials.

Triumph, who produce around 170 bikes a day in a range of 13 different models, including the world-famous 'Daytona', needs to ensure that the valuable machines arrive with their ultimate owners in the same pristine condition in which they leave the factory. After exhaustive testing and trials, the anti-corrosion fluid from Vapor-Tek, specially formulated and manufactured by the company, was chosen in the face of stiff competition from other materials from both UK and overseas suppliers.

The Vapor-Tek material will provide protection against the most corrosive conditions encountered during a deep sea voyage where salt laden atmospheres and high humidities could quickly eat away at metal surfaces. It is, therefore, fully up to the job of protecting the high quality Triumph machines both during storage and when they are being transported worldwide.

Vapor-Tek worked closely with Triumph engineers and with Eurospray of Loughborough, the latter designing and fabricating a custom-built automated spray unit for application of the protective fluid."
